CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT
PUBLIC SAFETY IS EVERYONE BUSINESS!
Safe Roads Are Everyone’s Right — Driving Is a Privilege, NOT A RIGHT!
The National Safety Partnership of Liberia (NASAPAL Inc.) is taking decisive action to confront Liberia’s public safety crisis. Guided by global and national frameworks, NASAPAL Inc. implements:
• The United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021–2030
• The UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• The Global Alliance of Road Safety NGO’s #CommitToAct Campaign
• The Government of Liberia’s ARREST Agenda (Public Safety Pillar)
• High-risk environment: Liberia experiences preventable accidents and fatalities due to limited infrastructure, inadequate driver training, and insufficient enforcement of safety standards.
Through these commitments, NASAPAL Inc. delivers seventeen (17) community programs designed to protect children, empower youth, keep less busy young adults focus, support riders, and drivers, and safeguard pedestrians across Liberia.
Each initiative strengthens civic responsibility, reduces road traffic injuries, and reinforces the principle that driving is a privilege rooted in accountability.
By aligning international standards with Liberia’s urgent needs,NASAPAL Inc. transforms tragedy into advocacy, and advocacy into measurable, community driven impact.
